The West Pennine Moors were dry and beautiful for our 6 miles of REC walking, and we also supported Action homeless, a Leicester charity which serves the needs of people without homes in loads of innovative ways.
4 walkers did six miles, and we hope to have netted about £400 when the money is in. As well as the walk, the NATRE conference for over 150 residents in Bolton that weekend had an ‘auction of religious tackiness’ after the conference dinner, which yielded about another £40 to the fund.
Mark Chater, Fiona Moss, Deborah Weston and Lat Blaylock would like to thank all sponsors and supporters, including the person who paid £10.25 for a wind up walking and fire spitting ‘Nunzilla’ model. Every penny counts.
